BYOB, BYO CD’s/MP3’s
The Vespa Van will take all your support gear to the site. It leaves at noon on Friday the 10th and will get there at 5pm-ish. Get your stuff to Vespa Halifax Thursday or Friday if you want to throw it in the van.
You’re on your own to get to the venue. I know that some riders will leave from the shop at noon on Friday and the very, very, very fast riders are leaving the shop at 5pm on Friday. You are welcome to arrange your own departure times and meet here. There are rumors of the 50cc scoots leaving at 5am
Food:
Friday night: BBQ provided.
Saturday: Breakfast provided,
Lunch is on the road, Supper is provided.
Sunday: Breakfast provided.
Rally Fees are $25/adult for the weekend and includes a wrist band and Rally Bag. We had questions last year like “But what if I’m only here for the day?” or “You’re not going to charge my 2 year old 25 bucks are you?” Don’t get me wrong, we would love to charge your 2 year old 25 bucks, but the fact is he just doesn’t have the cash.
So this year, Rally-goers’ kids eat for free, and if you’re just hanging out Saturday afternoon to watch the Gymkhana, sure, you don’t need to pay the Rally fee. But if you want a Rally bag or if you want to eat, its 25 buckaroos.
Directions
From Halifax:
Get yourself to Annapolis Royal.
For those of us on scoots,
it’s a ride through Bedford, through
Sackville and then
keep on trucking up Route1.
Once you’re over the causeway at the Tidal Power Station, Route1 turns into Prince Albert Road.
Turn left on Saint George Street/Route 8, and then left again on Route 201 towards Bridgetown.
Within five minutes, you’ll see on your left side,
an unlit sign for the 74th Crusaders Motorcycle club. Turn left and 30 seconds down the dirt road, your there!
